What a disappointment. Build was straight forward and the structure seems sound. Was a user of the Rack and Roll for about 2 decades, bought it before it was a Yakima product, and have used it a great deal. However, when I went to place the light trailer registration license plate on trailer it doesn't fit!?!?! Not a problem with the rack and roll which is engineered to fit large or small plate. This is only engineered to fit a large plate. Called and they told me to go to my local trailer supply and seem if they can help with a fix!? All that money for this trailer and that failure. I live in a tiny town in Wyoming. So with no help I will be doing the job that the engineers at Yakima failed to do, engineer a way to hang a small light trailer license plate on the EasyRider.

I absolutely love this trailer, but there's one major flaw in my opinion. When I mount the Yakima Big Catch saddles to the bottom portion of the trailer I had to remove the top cross bars due to lack of space. With the saddles installed and the top HD cross bars installed my Hobie Pro Angler would not fit due to lack of space. I would love to mount the HD cross bars back on but if i do so then my trailer would not be able to fit my kayak. I have searched everywhere for a spacer kit or even some adapter to put space between the bottom and top bars but had zero luck.

I've had my trailer since November 2022 now, and have had nothing but great a experience. The fenders were shipped new with an upgraded metal frame on the inside of the fender, and I have had no issues.
