I have a 4.3 x 27.5" tire which the strap works well. I also have a 4.6 x 26" that the strap is too short. Even with the tire deflated the wider rim makes it nearly impossible to get the strap on the first notch. This would be a great addition to the rack I have if the strap was a couple of inches longer. Struggling with the tire strap is the last thing I want to do after a long winter ride.
